There are a few hotels in the area, as well as many Airbnb-type rentals as Pickwick Lake is just a few minutes away. If you'd prefer a larger town with more selection regarding stays, food, and other amenities, we suggest staying about 20 minutes west in Corinth.

Truthfully? Not a ton! Iuka is a really quiet town. We do have some fun spots in historic downtown. The Cream & Sugar Cafe is delicious, and there are multiple local businesses worth poking your heads into! However, anyone looking to explore the surrounding area can check out the state and local parks around Iuka (and some of them are right on Pickwick Lake). We're right in the NE corner of the state, so we're not too far from both the Tennessee and Alabama borders, should anyone want to hop across state lines and check a state off their bucket list!

From what we can find, the average for this area in October is between 53 (low) and 76 (high). We haven't lived here long enough to see the fall, so we're as clueless as y'all! However, we can tell you that it'll be humid, so prepare for that.
