How We Met - 2020

What makes our story so unique is that it's not your typical love story. In a time where it is difficult to meet someone and all hope is lost, it is family and friends who keep you moving forward. That is how our journey began. Tommy's father developed a relationship with Arianne's family through their businesses over the years, which was the start of how we met. For years, Tommy had been hearing about Arianne, but never thought anything of it. The funny part is during that entire time, Arianne was also hearing about Tommy. Years continued to go by, but all it took was a little push from Arianne's friends for her to make the first move. That was a big step out of her comfort zone, but we think it worked out in her favor. What got her to reach out to Tommy, was a instagram story of his best friend/wingman, Chewbacca or "Chewy".

First Date

Our first date was at a new establishment in Howland called the Living Room Tavern. Tommy was so nervous on his way to Arianne's house. He was calling everyone to get a pep talk since it was his first date in a long time. When the night ended, Tommy must have done something right because it ended with him getting a kiss.

The Proposal - August 20th, 2021

Months went by, and even though we were only dating for a short period time, Tommy knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. After talking with her parents, Tommy wanted to give Arianne the proposal of her dreams. On August 20th, Tommy took her to Gervasi Vineyards where he had an entire proposal planned. Even though they got there before the place even opened, Arianne had no clue what was about to happen. They started walking through the vineyards until there was a path of rose petals. They followed the pedals into the Conservatory building, and once the path ended, Tommy got down on one knee. The best decision Tommy ever made was to ask Arianne to marry him. However, there is always one flaw in a perfect day. It is hard to spell "Marry Me" with big letters when Tommy forgets the "e" in Me at home.
