It all started with a swipe on Bumble, and little did we know, that simple action would lead to something so much more. From our very first conversation, we couldn’t get enough of each other. We quickly realized there was something special between us—an undeniable connection that only grew stronger as we spent more time together.

Before we knew it, we were traveling together, exploring new places and creating unforgettable memories. And in those moments, we started talking about forever. The thought of marriage didn’t feel like a distant dream—it felt right. When you know, you know. We both felt it from the start, we were meant for each other, and our love story was just beginning.

Along the way, we’ve taught each other a lot. I’ve learned that not all jocks are as clueless as they look (Derek proves that every day), and he’s taught me that the Honda is, in fact, the best car on earth. I’ve also taught him that he should never, ever trust me when it comes to giving directions. But Derek has also learned that Latina women are indeed spicy—both in food and attitude. I’ll just leave it at that.

Through the laughs, the adventures, and the occasional wrong turn, we know that we’ve got something special. We’re in this for the long haul—whether we’re road-tripping or just trying to find our way home.
