Sam is a high school friend of the couple, who saw the start & growth of their relationship!

Jay & Ariel are old college friends who first met in Hillcrest Hall at Virginia Tech and were RAs together!

Josh is Ian's cousin. They spent much of their childhood together, mostly bickering, wrestling, or watching football!

Sam and Ariel were part of the Calhoun Discovery Program and in the same major at Virginia Tech, so they spent many hours studying together!

Zach is also one of Ian's cousins (older brother of Josh) who also spent much of childhood with Ian!

Ariel & Meredith met at a weekly VPI Cave Club meeting and have spent many hours caving together! Meredith (and her boyfriend Nathan) are old roommates of Ariel & Ian

Nathan first met Ariel also at a VPI Cave Club meeting, and later met Ian when they became roommates!

Katie & Ariel met when Ariel lived in Huntsville, at a weekly mountain bike ride, and were teammates on NICA mountain bike teams together!

Ian & AJ met when both were doing an EMS deployment in Washington DC one summer and have spent much time swapping EMS stories!

Brent is Ariel's older brother who grew up alongside her mountain & road biking, camping, and much more! They share a love for Subaru Imprezas!

Caleb is Ariel's younger brother and grew up with them mountain & road biking, camping and much more. They share a love for cats (particularly Gracie)!
