From the moment I met Ariel, she swept me off my feet. For her, not as much... She said my hinge pictures were ugly, and she almost swiped left. Now, more than three years later, here we are, madly in love and planning our lives together!

Our Journey

So clearly Jesse wrote that first part... I remember on our first date, we completely lost track of time, everyone had left the restaurant, and they were trying to close. I knew then there was something special about Jesse. He then waited exactly 24 hours to text me he'd had a great time and wanted to see me again (some dating rule for guys he said). Now, more than three amazing years later, we are planning our greatest adventure yet!

The Townsend provides a luxury experience and is situated in downtown Birmingham, approximately 20 minutes by car from Meadow Brook Hall. Downtown Birmingham has excellent high-end shopping and great restaurants/cafes. The Hampton Inn at Great Lakes Crossing is a fantastic alternative option situated right next to Great Lakes Crossing Outlet mall, home to Legoland, an aquarium, a bowling alley/arcade, a movie theater, and several great shopping options. This option is 15 minutes from Meadow Brook Hall. See bookings and booking links below.

Guests must transport themselves from the Townsend hotel to the Meadowbrook Hall event venue. No shuttlebus will be provided.
