Samuel and Ariel met in a modern way, Facebook Dating, in the Winter of 2021. They talked for a while and finally decided to make New Year’s Eve plans. Nervously and excitedly, they both prepared themselves to finally meet face to face. For their date, Samuel took Ariel to her favorite restaurant,Mexican. They hit it off and later that evening Samuel asked Ariel to be his girlfriend. Obviously, she said yes and they started their journey together. They spent over a year as a long distance relationship traveling between Missouri and Illinois.
One day, Ariel decided she had enough of the distance and talked to Samuel about moving. They had been talking about buying a house for a while, but until that point that’s all it was, talk. They finally decided that Ariel would move to Illinois in order to start the process of buying a home. Samuel and Ariel ended up finding their perfect starter home, and after lots of tears and stress, they ended up purchasing the home in May 2023. As they started on this new journey together, life was going swimmingly and Fall 2023 quickly came around the corner. Samuel and Ariel had been talking about marriage and Samuel proposing, but Ariel had no idea when he’d propose. Finally the day came in October 2023. Samuel proposed and Ariel obviously said yes! The rest of their story is still being written but as the story usually goes…They Lived Happily Ever After.
