TQ and I met back in 2010 while working as EMTs together for ER Ambulance in El Cajon, CA. We were friends for several years before we started dating in April 2014. In January 2014 we began hanging out a lot more together. In April we officially became boyfriend &amp; girlfriend while Thien-Quang was in his paramedic school internship and I was in my first year of Nursing school. Since the beginning of our relationship we've endured paramedic school, nursing school, the fire academy, probation, my new job and two moves!I work as an Emergency Department RN (Registered Nurse) for UCSD San Diego-Hillcrest and Thien-Quang works as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of San Diego Fire Department. We both are currently working our dream jobs and couldn't be happier with our career choices.In November of 2016 on a camping trip to Zion, Utah, TQ proposed while hiking through the narrows. He got down on one knee (up to his waist) in the ice cold water and asked me to marry him. I didn't give him an answer at first, I just kept saying "Are you serious?!" He then prompted me for an answer by stating, "So is that a yes? Because this water is really cold." I said yes, obviously, and now here we are! WE JUST BOUGHT A HOUSE! TQ and I are officially homeowners! We purchased our first home together in August and are slowly saving up money to furnish our home. We have two fur children, Bizzl and Ellie. My (Arielle's) parents live in El Cajon, CA and TQ's parents live in Mira Mesa, CA. I (Arielle) have one sister in CA while TQ has 2 sisters, one in NY and one in CO.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

Climb aboard the USS Midway, known for serving in both Operation Frequent Wind in 1975 and Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Take time to explore all the main areas of this famed aircraft carrier, including access to 29 carefully restored aircraft on the flight deck.
Visit the 60 exhibits, each steeped with the sights, sounds, and smells of the Midway's past. Step into the massive galley, tour the engine room, and walk through the private sleeping quarters of the sailors. Then head to the 4-acre (1.6-ha) flight deck to get an up-close view of the F-14 Tomcat and the TBM Avenger.
A day spent on board this floating city allows you to take a journey back in time with the original crew of the Midway. Listen to their voices on the audio tour as they offer firsthand accounts of daily life at sea. In addition, the volunteer docents—many of whom also served on the Midway—share their personal stories and anecdotes with you during your day of discovering a piece of American history.
