Our Wedding

It's a tale as old as time, they met online. One Martin sibling vacation to the rodeo was just the chance fate (or algorithms) needed to make a connection. After months of talking, a few late nights facetimes and Cody asking for a date numerous times........Arilyn finally said yes, and they were off to the races aka an escape room. (CLOWN THEMED I MIGHT ADD). They escaped and knew they worked well under pressure together right off the bat. This date turned into a beach trip and a night watching fireworks together for fourth of July! They have been inseparable ever since.

Chapter 1

The second time up to the ranch was a doozy for Cody... butchering chickens. Arilyn likes to call it baptism by fire! But he handled it like a champ and didn't bat an eye at the process. The whole family knew from the get-go he was serious about Arilyn and learning the ropes of the ranch. He has helped tremendously with projects big and small and learned all about ranch life and the work it entails.

Chapter 2

As Arilyn shared her world with Cody, he did the same thing with the off-road world. Taking her out in the snow or nice weather down his favorite local trails in his Jeep and to a few off-road community events. Toss in some hikes and a few more beach trips, it was clear these two would be spending their future together and mostly outdoors. Even to this day, they can be found adventuring together whether on a vacation or at the ranch.

Chapter 3

The Engagement. Cody pulled a fast one for sure. This was the easiest yes of Arilyn's life! She thought they were just going for pictures. Next thing you know she's a fiancé! The next few months became a whirlwind of excitement and more pictures! From spreading the news to family and friends, to looking for housing options that allowed them to live together. Cody made the leap and moved up to the ranch! Long days and long weekends ensued to get the property ready to host all of yall for the wedding!

Chapter 4

Wedding planning is well underway, and the families are hard at work getting everything put together to make this wedding a beautiful celebration of marriage and joining two families together. Cody and Arilyn cannot wait to have you at the ceremony and reception!

Jaci is a close friend and neighbor of the bride.  They have enjoyed many late night chats in the barn over beer and snacks. Jaci is the friend you can turn to with anything and she will receive you with open arms and no judgment. She is a true warrior with a caring heart and she makes a great bonus sister!

Brittney has been a role model and chosen sister to Arilyn since she was a girl.   Brittney has always been a wealth of knowledge and advice in all aspects of life. She and Arilyn have spent many summers brainstorming farmstands, canning and homesteading as well as creative businesses and adventures.  Brittney is one of the kindest humans on this planet and she brings so much love and compassion to everyone who knows her.

Holly is a chosen sister to Arilyn who taught her sarcasm and humor growing up.  (Boy is she good at it too).  Holly has always been a great source of inspiration with her design talents and leatherwork which she makes from scratch.  Holly is one of the strongest and bravest women on the planet with her determination and perseverance to do things her way and take her own path.

Tiff and Arilyn were introduced through Brittney and became instant friends. Tiff has an infectious laugh and personality and it’s impossible not to love her and want her in your circle. She is one fierce woman and always has the best questions for literally everybody! Hence why she started the best podcast ever.  Life without Tiff is a life without color!

Dakota and Arilyn met back in the early days of college working in retail and instantly bonded over terrible customers and fun stories. Dakota is the tried and true friend you can count on for a good venting session or a fun day antiquing.  She is kind and compassionate and determined to help those around her.

John and Cody have been friends for nearly 20 years and consider themselves more brothers than friends. Through all of life’s ups and downs Cody and John have always been there for each other. Even now living 7 hours away from each other they still don’t miss any big life milestone or celebration. No distance is too far for family. 

John

Tristan is Arilyn’s brother and over the past few years has enjoyed getting Cody up to speed on ranch living, never missing an opportunity to share a laugh often at Cody’s expense. Cody has come to admire Tristan’s work ethic and his ability to always have a good time even while doing chores. They have shared many laughs during early morning hunts and late nights around the fire.

Justin is Cody’s brother in law and has been in Cody’s family since he was a teenager. Justin is responsible for Cody’s fondness for Jack Daniel’s and for numerous fun stories we won’t go into here. Justin is the older brother Cody never had and is always there for anything Cody needs including that AAA membership and pretty soon his AARP membership!

Chaz and Cody meet through a mutual friend after Cody moved to Sacramento but didn’t really become close friends till Cody started building his jeep and hired Chaz to help with the welding side of the build. Night one of the build was a rough one but they have been friends ever since. Numerous early mornings and late nights working on the jeep or out on the trail it’s safe to say Cody and Chaz will be friends for life.

Avery and Cody met in 7th grade and have been friends ever since. Avery and Cody spent many years skateboarding, biking, off-roading, camping and so much more. Even after Avery moved for college they still found time for road trips and camping trips. Avery is a chosen brother and a friend for life no matter the distance.

Munchkin is the sweetest, caring and goofiest little girl who is beyond excited for the wedding day!

Sweet as a peach and always smiling! She can't wait to celebrate!

Please see the map above for parking reference. The address, 1305 Capell Valley Road Apt. C Napa, CA 94558, will take you to the shop across the street. The black circle above will be the entrance for parking. Signage will be posted, and someone will be around to help with parking.

We will have limited space available for friends and family traveling from far and wide with a camper trailer or rv. Please reach out to the bride or groom for details. (NOT full hookups.) Please have trailers or rvs in place before the 3rd of October. Schedule with the Bride and Groom as early as possible

This was Arilyn's first job outside the agriculture industry! Ron creates such an amazing experience it feels like you're still at home! The back deck has a beautiful view of the creek and is ideal for a relaxing morning coffee and a good book watching the local wildlife! Definitely check them out but book early, rooms are limited. Save $$ by booking direct on their website and support a local Napa treasure! Please be aware that this hotel is about 30 minutes from the ranch. Stahlecker House Inn

An upscale hotel in the heart of our favorite small town. We love the Carboni's restaurant in the lobby and a bonus to the great service and beautiful rooms, guests get a free glass of wine when you check in and get settled! We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to make their stay here a little fancy! Please be aware that this hotel is about 30 minutes from the ranch. There is no fuel/diesel near the ranch, so we recommend you fuel up beforehand!

Still in the town of Winters, but more budget friendly. Right next to a Starbucks! Please be aware that this hotel is about 30 minutes from the ranch. There is no fuel/diesel near the ranch, so we recommend you fuel up beforehand!

Fairfield Inn & Suites Winters Davis

Right on the edge of town in Napa close to grocery stores and downtown! Please be aware that this hotel is about 30 minutes from the ranch. There is no fuel/diesel near the ranch, so we recommend you fuel up beforehand!

Hampton Inn & Suites Napa

Cedar Gables Inn

This airport is roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes from the ranch, traffic depending. The route will take you through Napa so if you decide to book a room in Napa, this would be the most convenient airport.

San Francisco International Airport

This airport is about 1 hour and 10 minutes from the ranch. This route will take you through Winters. If you book a hotel in Winters we recommend this airport.

We recommend exploring the Napa Valley in the days leading up to the wedding! Downtown Napa has lots of delicious food and tasting rooms to explore, We recommend Napa Palisades for beer and bites, or Don Piercos for Mexican. If you're looking for a fun tasting room to try some of Napa Valley Famous Wine, Housley Tasting Room is downtown and family owned!

The Housleys are a longtime Napa family that attend the same church Arilyn grew up attending.  They are very sweet people and have many great businesses downtown!

Madorom’s owners Andy and Marissa have been long time family friends of the Bride’s family. Please know that tastings are by appointment only but well worth it! They create exquisite wines and are a great down to earth family. We highly recommend trying their black label Cabernet Sauvignon or a family favorite the Camouflage Red Blend!
