We live and will be having the ceremony in Vilafranca del Penedes which is about an hour outside of the center of Barcelona and the airport. The airport in which you will need to fly into is El Prat Barcelona. Those of you traveling from the states, we recommend level airlines for low budget flights. Public transport is available from the airport to Vilafranca. It is about 10euro and will take an hour and a half-two hours. Taxis are also available starting at a minimum of 100euro and will take you about 50 minutes. There is a taxi stand outside of the aiport. Be sure they are marked taxis. The best taxi option is to reserve. Please ask or let us know your travel plans and maybe we can arrange to pick you up. There is also the option of renting a car from the airport which is a relatively cheap option and handy for getting around.
