Gracie and Arneet met at a place where so many meet-cutes, romances, and lasting love are found...at work.

It was as perfect a situation to meet each other as there could be. She worked the closing shift at work, and he worked the opening. Every day their schedules lined up they would hand off the shift to the other. It always started as a work conversation, but eventually would turn into finding out more about each other. But she was only there temporarily; he was stuck there permanently.

She eventually left, and he missed his shot. Thinking he couldn't let this pass, he finessed his way to bring her back. He gently persuaded his colleague to take another vacation because they deserved it and suggested someone to cover them again, thus giving him another chance.

He walked in Halloween night, while she sat at her desk with small and sparkling cat ears atop a head of beautiful and flowing blonde hair. He sat across from her and they handled quick business; she decided not to head home right away. He awkwardly stumbled his way through a few nervous sentences leading up to a question...and she said yes to dinner. (Note: dinner didn't work out because they were both busy and their schedules were terrible and never lined up, so instead they went out for drinks, which turned out amazing anyways, so...just pretend it was all perfect without a hitch).

Since that night, Gracie and Arneets' feelings for each other grew fast and strong. In each other, they quickly found in each other someone to laugh, cry, and cry laughing with; someone to travel the world with, and create a life with. They've seen Rome, Spain, the Caribbean, New Zealand, and Japan together. They've been to Seahawks games together, of which there will be so many more. They've driven thousands of miles, and hundreds of hours, together.

Even the proposal was somehow a series of memories instead of just one. When he was ready to make Gracie his forever, Arneet went to long lengths to design a unique and personal engagement ring. But it wasn't easy. Somehow, it took months to ship. Then, he realized he got the wrong-sized ring (don't worry, he felt super guilty about it). And then, it took more than eight panic-inducing weeks for that ring to come back correctly sized (again, he felt incredibly guilty about it).

Finally, on 10 June 2024, at Arneet's insistence, the two drove to Elysian Park in LA to a high-up view of downtown with a clear view into Dodgers Stadium. Gracie was suspicious, but not enough so to prepare for the surprise when Arneet called for her and she turned around and saw him down on one knee with a little box in his hand. And Gracie had no idea her best friends were hiding not far away watching her say the same word she said when Arneet first asked her out on a date...yes.

These two have grown in so many ways because of the love they share, personally and as a couple. They challenge each other with love and good intentions and lift each other up no matter the struggle. In each other, they've found security, love, and trust. Perhaps most importantly, wherever the other is, that is where they call home.

Gracie and Arneet are so excited to spend a beautiful weekend, and a most special day, with so many people they love looking on as they begin yet another chapter in their love and lives together. Just like the first night they met, it will be a moment to remember and the start of something even more beautiful.
