As we are finally down few more days before our big day, we have prepared answers to some FAQs that may not be clear due to tight schedule for our wedding preparations.
HOW DO I GET TO THE CEREMONY?
For our guests who will be bringing their own car, you may use Waze or Google Map and just key in "St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church - Sampalucan, General Trias City, Cavite (Diocese of Imus)" for the Church venue and "Gen Tree Private Resort" for the Reception venue.
You can also Grab your way to the venue and pin "St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church General Trias" and "Gen Tree Private Resort General Trias".
Better to allot 2 to 2.5 hours if you'll be coming from the North as this should already give you enough travel time given the traffic conditions.
IS IT NECESSARY TO RSVP FOR THE WEDDING?
Yes, please! We need to consolidate all our guests details as soon as possible to finalize our seating arrangement.
If we you have any trouble RSVP-ing through the website, please contact the couple directly.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CHURCH VENUE?
We encourage you to arrive before 1:30 PM as the entourage starts to line up at this time. Processional will start at 1:45 PM and Ceremony will start at 2:00 PM this will be strictly followed. It would be nice to see you all while we are having our first walk down the aisle!
IS THERE A PARKING AREA FOR OUR CARS?
Yes! There is a free parking area within Gen Tree Private Resort but on a first come, first served basis. Let me know if you will be bringing car so we can reserve you a slot.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
While we'd love to have your guests attend, we want to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with only immediate friends and family present for our special day. Thank you for understanding our wishes.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS TO THE WEDDING?
We love children but we cannot accommodate them at the venue. We genuinely appreciate your understanding that our wedding day is tailored for ADULTS to fully enjoy the celebration. The only kids attending are those who are part of the entourage and those only requested. Your understanding means the world to us.
CAN WE TAKE PICTURES AND VIDEOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
We invite eveyone to be fully present in our ceremony and enjoy the moment with us. Please put your phones in silent mode. You may take pictures and videos, BUT PLEASE avoid extending your arms along the aisle and above your heads. Though the ceremony is unplugged, our reception is not. Once we finish our first kiss as Mr & Mrs, you are free to take a shot.
WHAT TIME WILL BE THE PROGRAM START?
There will be pre-program at 4:00pm, appetizers and refreshments will be served, mingle with others and make memories with our photobooth. The main program will start by 5:00pm.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
We'd love to see our family and friends get up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies wear floor length tea-length, or midi-formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear long-sleeves and pants/trousers (refer the long sleeves to the color palette in the invitation) No jeans, rubber shoes and slippers please!
ARE THERE ANY COLORS THAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED?
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- white, ivories and creams.
DO YOU HAVE ANY PREFERENCES FOR WEDDING GIFTS?
Please do not be obliged to buy us a gift since your presence is all that we request. We are grateful for the time and effort you'll be spending just to be there on our special day.
However, if you wish to bless us with gift, we would greatly appreciate a monetary gift to start our married life together.
WHEN IS THE APPROPRIATE TIME TO LEAVE?
Please do not eat and run. It took US months to plan our wedding. Stay with us until the end of the program. If you must leave early, we'd personally love to thank you and bid goodbye before you go, perhaps not until our Same Day Edit (SDE) video is played
