Transportation
It will take you at least 50 minutes from the Sacramento airport to Auburn, California so we recommend carpooling with other guests, renting a car or Uber.
The welcome drinks event will be 10-15 minutes from your hotel, you should be able to grab an Uber, or if you rented a car, there will be parking available.
For the wedding day we ask guests to please reserve an Uber or carpool with other guests to get to the venue, it's about a 20 minute drive from Auburn, and the roads are quite windy. We will be providing some transportation back to the Holiday Inn Auburn and Springhill Suites at the end of the night. There is plenty of parking at the wedding venue if you do decide to drive.

What is the dress code?
For our welcome drinks we ask that you dress smart casual. For our wedding day we ask that you dress in black tie or traditional Indian clothes.
Are kids welcome?
To allow all our guests to relax and enjoy the entire weekend without distractions, we've planned an adults-only celebration.
What will the weather be like?
The average temperatures in Cool, CA in April are in the mid 60's. All of the events will take place outdoors with a small amount of indoor space during dancing. We will have some heaters out, but please dress accordingly and bring layers.
Is there a hotel room block?
Yes! Please visit the "Hotel & Airports" tab for direct links to book our hotel block. There are two hotels with room blocks & discounted rates for our guests.
What time should I arrive?
Our Nikah ceremony will begin at 3pm sharp, so we recommend arriving around 2:30 to give yourself time to get settled. The ceremony site is on top of a hill, so we will have a some transportation on site to help bring people up and down the hill to the ceremony site. However, please plan on walking some distance from parking to the ceremony if needed.
