Daniel and I met freshman year at CLHS through mutual friends. I started hanging out with the friend group to get closer to Daniel obviously and as you can see it worked. We dated for about a week in high school then I switched school and lord knows we were both always grounded from our phones so we lost connection. We didn't reconnect till after high school though social media. We started hanging out again as friends and texted about once a month to make sure the other was alive which continued until Christmas when I never got a response. Tried again around new year and found out that this dude tried to die on me. HOW RUDE. Obviously I was over to his parents the day after he was out to check on him and he was his normal sarcastic self and still morbid as always. We continued as friends for awhile but ended up losing connection after his second surgery. We reconnected during the most hectic time of my life but it just reminded me of the main reasons I fell in love with this man. The amount of calm that goes through my body when he hugs me is insane. His kind words can fix almost every situation. - Arri
