One from Chicago and the other from California; what a coincidence that we both ended up on the same ferry from Puerto Rico to Culebra island during our separate vacations with our friends!

One of us made a decision to approach the other, and that's how we first met.

It was as if the stars aligned and we crossed paths again the next day, both booking the same trip with different tour guides to El Yunque Rainforest. Then, in a twist of fate, Arta's tour got canceled last minute, so Eucario saved the day (haha) and gave his tour details for Arta and her friends to join. Climbing rocks and jumping from the rainforest cliffs was just what we needed to connect.

We agreed to meet up again in California, and just a month and a half later, we had our first date.

After driving three and a half hours to see each other every three weeks for a few months, we made it official.

We decided to spend our first holidays together at Eucario's parents' house in Chicago.

Eucario decided to move to Orange County to be closer to each other.

This was our fist dinner together in Eucario's new apartment in OC. With no furniture and a storage box as a table we celebrated the move with some local burgers.

On this day in Carlsbad, CA in front of beautiful flower fields Eucario proposed to Arta, and she said - YES!

We decided to have a small, intimate civil ceremony while we continue planning the big celebration to share with all of you.

Long and "patiently" awaited addition to our family came home with us. Meet Cindy Lou, our beautiful Australian labradoodle! All three of us can't wait to see you at our wedding!
