Q&A

All You Need to Know for Jamaica!

Have a question or just want to say hi? We’d love to hear from you! Email us anytime at aolormil@gmail.com but before you do, check out these quick answers that might help.

When is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on Friday, August 14, 2026. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 5:00 PM to settle in and enjoy the view before we say “I do,” with the ceremony beginning promptly at 5:30 PM.

Where is the wedding taking place?

We’re celebrating at The Princess Grand Jamaica, located in Industry Cove, Green Island, Hanover, Jamaica a beautiful beachfront setting that we can’t wait to share with you.

How do I get there?

Unless you’ve got a secret yacht or plan on swimming, it’s by plane, of course! Fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, about 90 minutes from the resort. You can find great flight deals on sites like Google Flights, Expedia, or Orbitz.

How do I book my stay?

You now have the flexibility to book however you prefer.

You may book directly through the Princess Grand Jamaica website or through any reputable third-party travel site such as Expedia, Booking.com, Priceline, or Apple Vacations.

Choose the option, promotion, or package that works best for you.

There is no required booking link.

Please make sure your name matches your passport exactly when booking.

How do I make sure I get a Save the Date?

Just make sure we have your phone number, email, and mailing address, and we’ll add you to our list! You can text us or email us your info at aolormil@gmail.com

What’s included in my stay?

The Princess Grand Jamaica is all-inclusive. Enjoy unlimited food, drinks, and most water activities. Relax and enjoy paradise without worrying about extra costs.

When should I RSVP, and are there any payment deadlines?

Please RSVP to the wedding through the Evite as soon as you can so we can keep an accurate guest count for all events. Since everyone is now free to book their stay however they prefer, there are no required deposit amounts or payment deadlines from us.

When booking your room, you will follow whatever payment schedule your chosen platform offers, whether it’s booking directly through the resort or through a reputable third-party site like Expedia, Booking.com, or Apple Vacations.

If you are sharing a room, please coordinate with your roommates to make sure everyone understands the payment terms for the option you choose.

There is no longer a room block, so we encourage you to book early to secure the best rate and your preferred room category.

When do I need to RSVP, and how long are rooms held?

Since we are no longer using a room block, rooms are not being held under our wedding group. All guests are free to book directly with the resort or through any trusted third-party platform, and room availability will depend on what is open at the time you book.

We encourage you to book early to secure your preferred room category and take advantage of any promotions the resort may offer.

Please RSVP to the wedding through the Evite no later than April 14, 2026, so we can finalize our guest count for all events.

Are children welcome?

Yes. Families and kids are warmly welcome to join the celebration.

Staying Off the Resort? No Problem

While we’d love for everyone to stay with us at the resort and enjoy the full wedding experience together, we completely understand that some guests may prefer to stay offsite. If that’s your plan, no worries, we’re happy to help make sure everything goes smoothly.

Please note that the resort is very strict about outside guests entering the property, so it’s important to review the details carefully to avoid any issues at the gate. Read the following questions for important information about fees, deadlines, and resort entry rules for offsite guests.

What is the Resort Access Pass and how do I pay for it? (For Offsite Guests Only)

To attend any of our wedding events (Welcome Party, Wedding Day, or Encore Celebration), all offsite guests must purchase a mandatory resort access pass:

$180 per adult, per event

$90 per child (ages 4–12), per event

Payment must be made directly to the couple via Zelle to Arthur art.lormil@gmail.com or in cash no later than July 1, 2026 to secure your name on the approved guest list.

As per resort policy, anyone requesting entry after July 1 will not be permitted to attend any wedding events.

When can I enter the resort and who can I contact for help? (For Offsite Guests Only)

Only guests who have paid and are on the official list will be permitted entry. Entry to the resort will open 30 minutes before the event(s) start time on the event day.

If you experience any issues while on the resort, please contact Michelle Sewell Lugg via WhatsApp only at (876) 777-0327‬ for assistance.

Can I share a room to save costs?

Absolutely! Email us at aolormil@gmail.com and we’ll help connect you with other fun guests looking to share accommodations.

How many people can share a room?

Room options vary, but most can accommodate up to three guests.

Is transportation provided?

Airport transfers are available through the resort and third party shuttle companies.

Choose whichever option you prefer.

What should I pack?

Think light, elegant, and tropical! For the wedding, dress code is Tropical Elegance. For the welcome party, Island Dressy Cocktail. For the catamaran, pack Sun & Swim Vibes like swimsuits, cover-ups, and comfortable shoes. Don’t forget sunscreen to protect you from the tropical sun!

What currency is used?

The Jamaican Dollar is the local currency, but US dollars and major credit cards are widely accepted at the resort.

What’s the weather like in August?

Expect warm, sunny days in the mid-80s°F to low-90s°F. Perfect beach weather.

Do I need a passport or visa?

Yes. A valid passport is required for all international travelers. Most guests will not need a visa for short stays, but check your local embassy to confirm.

When will the couple be there?

We’ll be at the resort from August 10 through August 17, 2026, and can’t wait to spend time with everyone before and after the big day.

How long should I stay?

We recommend at least a four night stay. Arrive by Thursday, August 13 for the Welcome Party and depart Monday, August 17. Since our Farewell Celebration is on Saturday, you will still have all day Sunday to relax, enjoy the resort, and soak up a little more sunshine before heading home on Monday.

What if I find a cheaper rate or a great promotion?

Amazing. Please feel free to book whichever option works best for you. Rates and promotions can vary across different websites, so if you find a great deal, definitely take advantage of it.

We would also love for guests to share any helpful promotions or booking tips with the group. To make this easy, email us at aolormil@gmail.com

You can share things like:

Promotions you used

Booking platforms that offered good rates

Member discounts

Any travel tips that might help another guest

This is completely optional but very helpful, especially for guests booking for the first time. We are happy to pass the information along to anyone who asks.

Is there anything planned after the wedding?

Yes! Join us for our Encore of Love Farewell Celebration — a private catamaran cruise the day after the wedding.

Adults only | $80 per person

There will be optional swimming stops, so if you plan to join, bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and any seasickness remedies you prefer. It’s the perfect way to soak up the sun, sea, and final moments of celebration before we say goodbye.

Any other tips?

You’re in Jamaica, where time moves a little slower and smiles come a little easier. Embrace the island rhythm and savor every moment.

Check your passport early to make sure it’s valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. We’d hate to miss you!

Travel insurance is recommended for peace of mind, because even paradise can have surprises.

And most importantly… have fun! This trip is all about love, laughter, and sunshine, and we’re so excited to share it all with you.
