Saints Joachim and Anne were the parents of Mary, the mother of God. Though not much is concretely known about their lives, their labors of love can be seen through the life of their daughter. We have been inspired by their example, and desire to structure our marriage around love for and dedication to God. Coincidentally, their feast day is on July 26th, the day of our wedding. Therefore, we have chosen Saints Joachim and Anne to be the patron Saints of our marriage.

We will continue to pray for the intercession of Saints Joachim and Anne as we prepare for our marriage, and humbly ask for your prayers for their intercession as well.
