For many years, I would jokingly say, “God will have to bring my man to my front door, because it’s rough out here”. I never thought that was how I would actually meet the love of my life but God always has bigger plans and a good sense of humor.
In December 2024, me and my mom had moved to Alabama to help care for my grandma. A month after moving in, two men show up to work on my grandmas house and one of those men just happened to be Phillip. Now, Phillip made his intentions very clear before leaving that day and asked me out for that same night. Our first date was at the McDonald’s after having dinner with my dad. Two days later, we made it official and life has been a journey for the two of us since then. We knew very early on, that this was different than anything either one of us has experienced. We can’t wait to see what life has in store for us.
