Dustin and I met at a sporting club in our local town. One our family friends, Hunter Bish, convinced me (Aryn) to join the Castlewood Sporting Clays team. When I first started, I didn't talk to anyone really, but it was something that I was interested in continuing even if I did not know anyone. Hunter took me under his wing even though he was way younger than I was, and got me shooting with the big league kids after a few practices. After a short time, we were all signed up for the state shoot in Harrisburg where I started to open up and get to know some of the other shooters. One of them was Dustin. He was pretty quiet as was I, but we shared common interests, and he was always kind. It was a fun time, and I really started coming out of my shell. Dustin had a few years under his belt being on the team, so he was familiar with everyone including the coaches. When we got back from the state shoot, we continued practicing as a team even though our season was over. During practice one day, Dustin decided to recklessly drive the golf cart, swerving back and forth on a dirt road. As one could guess, he ended up driving the golf cart into a ditch on my side. My leg got caught under the cart, and I ended up with a few scrapes, but all was well. After that night, Dustin apologized a million times and said "Let me take you out to make up for it." I agreed to a date, and I guess the rest is history. Dustin and I have been together for 9 years as of June 30th. We have been together since I was 16 and he was 17. Because of him, I am a better person and I am sure he would say the same about me (hopefully). If Hunter would've never convinced me to join this team, I would've never met Dustin and for that I am forever grateful.
