Our Wedding

When Ross and Ash met... It was in the beginning of a global pandemic.

As one does in the middle of a pandemic, they connected online first. Their conversations flowed easily, leading to a planned in-person meeting. Ross, wanting to be accommodating of Ash's vegetarian diet (don't worry, he "fixed" her), suggested Mother Road Market. Ash arrived first, but a slight snag emerged – the restaurant was closed. Unfortunately, Ross, running slightly late despite starting early, had left his phone at home and forgotten a mask. Ash, initially amused by the giant yellow SUV with the "BIGBIRD" license plate pulling up, was less thrilled by the closed restaurant and the lack of communication due to Ross's missing phone.

When Ross finally arrived, he found Ash leaving the locked doors. She made him pick a new restaurant, and he selected Bricktown Brewery. After some initial awkwardness (involving a rogue lemon seed!), their conversation took flight. They enjoyed each other's company so much, they ended up walking for hours after their dinner, extending their perfect July evening.

Their connection continued to grow. For nearly two years, they traveled to each other on weekends, going between Ash's apartment and Ross's place in Stillwater. In April 2022, they officially moved in together. By the end of that December, Ross had purchased their first home in Broken Arrow. And by the end of 2023, the question was popped – Ross asked Ash to marry him.

The Gretna Chase Hotel will be the location of our reception, and a room block is in place for our guests!


The hotel provides an amazing breakfast and has a Michelin star chef running their kitchens!


Rooms have already been put under your names. You will have to call the hotel and add your  information. They will ask for a £50 per night deposit for the room. This must be done 60 days before check-in to hold the room.
