Guests traveling from abroad should have Lisbon, Portugal (LIS) as their final flight destination as it is the closest airport with the most international flight options. However, if you wish you may also fly into Porto or Faro (in Algarve).
From here travel by car is recommended (there are several rental car companies at the airport) if you're planning to explore before / after the wedding! Bolt (Portugal's local Lyft) or Uber (expected price 110-140 euros) are also an option if you're just planning to travel directly to/from the wedding. Vile Gale Collection Elvas is approximately a 2 hour drive from the Lisboa airport or a 1 and 1/2 hour drive from Faro airport.
Public transportation is available for those who want to get a local feeling. Buses (https://rede-expressos.pt/en) are approximately a 3-hour ride to Elvas, where the recommended accommodation (Vila Gale Collection Elvas) is. From there a quick cab ride will take you to Vila Gale.
Vila Gale Collection Elvas is the recommended accommodation for our wedding. Located in the heart of Elvas, acknowledged as World Heritage by UNESCO, this modern hotel results from the rehabilitation of the ancient São Paulo Convent.
We believe it will make it an enjoyable stay (whenever you're not enjoying us!), but will also be the departure point for the bus leaving for the wedding venue (Torre de Palma Wine Hotel)!

We ask you kindly to leave the Suites and Mezzanine Suites for families of 3 or more people (up to 4 per suite). For each additional person beyond 2, there will be a supplement of €60 / night.
10 of the standard rooms will be able to accommodate a child - so please make sure to reference in your email if you have a child that will be sleeping in your room, or if you need connecting rooms.
Most wedding events will take place at Torre de Palma, a storybook setting of endlessly-undulating farmland and vineyards that has a fairy-tale feel. We hope you come to love it as much as we do.
