After Sarah graduated from college, she moved back to Rochester and began a job at Joann Fabrics. She met Asher, an RIT student, on a dating app that she joined on a whim. Their first conversation was about capybaras and how you can put an orange on their heads without them minding. Throughout the next few years Asher would try to put things on Sarah's head without her noticing (which she always did) and brought her boba to work, a twenty minute drive for him at the time. He met her family, and they bonded over making fun of Sarah. Sarah bonded with Asher's family much the same way.
One fateful day they visited a cat cafe to pet some cats, and one cat in particular sat on Sarah's lap within thirty seconds. Next week, they adopted Caesar, a fluffy orange formerly feral cat who enjoys voicing his opinions very loudly and crawling all over his parents.
After dating for nearly three years, Asher proposed to Sarah at the summit of the South Bubble, in Acadia National Park. She had designed the ring so she had a suspicion that he would propose, but she still did not know what to do with her hands in any photos taken of the event, as seen above.
The couple is glad to share this event with their loved ones and gives their utmost thanks to everyone involved in planning and creating this day for them.
