Once upon a time in the beautiful island of Guam, a love story began to unfold. In December of 2017, Ashlee and Ty crossed paths while serving in the United States Navy. Little did they know that this chance meeting would mark the beginning of a remarkable journey together.

Over the next five years, Ashlee and Ty navigated the challenges of military life, stationed in Guam and sharing both joyous moments and enduring separations due to three deployments. Their love endured the trials of distance, and the bonds they forged only grew stronger with each passing day.

As veterans, they returned to the United States and embarked on a new chapter together. Their post-military adventure led them to Southern Utah University, where they pursued their academic dreams side by side. Ty delved into the fascinating world of aerospace and aviation sciences, with a focus on becoming a rotary wing pilot. Meanwhile, Ashlee was determined to make a difference, studying criminal justice and legal studies.

Amidst the rigors of academics and the excitement of new beginnings, Ty decided to make Ashlee's birthday on July 12th, 2023, an unforgettable day. In a moment that echoed the depth of their shared experiences, he got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life. Ashlee, with tears of joy, said "Yes!"
