Our Wedding

We first met at Beyer High School, I was a freshman, Dominic (Dom) was a sophomore.&nbsp;The connection wasn’t instant (although I did think Dom was cute), but once Dom came over with friends and had pizza, we started goofing around and next thing you know, I became very interested in Dom.&nbsp;Some might say it took Dom a few days longer to become interested right back, but I also had the backing of my bestie pushing Dom to be interested!&nbsp;Next thing you know, Valentines Day of 2017 comes, and we officially become a couple.&nbsp;In all honesty, neither one of us thought that this was going to lead to a lifetime of love.&nbsp;We were young, carefree and enjoying our busy high school years.&nbsp;As we navigated through high school, Covid, and life after high school, our love didn’t waiver.&nbsp;Marriage became a topic of conversation but also came with a condition that we would save to buy a house before we got married.&nbsp;We were both settled in our careers, and we made a choice to both live at our respective parent’s homes to save as much as we could to achieve this goal.&nbsp;Marriage was still a constant discussion, but timing was to be determined.&nbsp;Jan 2024, we were getting to a point where we could buy a home, so Dom told me I needed to start looking at rings.&nbsp;Unbeknownst to me, he really wanted to surprise me, and my family had a trip to Maui planned a year in advance for all of us (the trip was not planned around a proposal).&nbsp;Dom decided he wanted to propose to me there knowing how much I love Hawaii.&nbsp;That’s when the planning and secrets and teamwork began to pull off the most amazing surprise proposal in Maui!&nbsp;Six months after the most amazing proposal, we achieved our goal and bought our first house.&nbsp;And just shy of dating for 9 years, we will be married.&nbsp;It will be the Best Day Ever!&nbsp;

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 3:30pm to allow at least 15-20 minutes to be transported from parking to the ceremony site. The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm.

Where do I park

The venue is on Orange Blossom Road, once you get to the gate there is parking along the road. There will be a trolly to come and take guests from the road to the ceremony space.

Are kids able to come?

While we adore your children, we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party and a select few from out of state. &nbsp;Please make it a date night.&nbsp;We can't wait to celebrate with you!

We are so happy you have traveled to celebrate with us on our Wedding Day! Oakdale is a very small town with limited lodging! We have added in some recommendations in Oakdale and the surrounding areas. The two Oakdale hotels should be within about 15 minutes of the venue and the Modesto/Salida choices could take up to 45 minutes based on traffic and light signals.
