What is the dress code?
Formal or cocktail attire! We would love everyone to join us in dressing up, but we want everyone to be comfortable. The only thing we ask is for everyone to avoid the color white!
Do I get a plus one?
We want our ceremony and reception to be an intimate celebration with close family and friends. We respectfully ask that you do not bring a guest unless it explicitly states we have extended a +1 on your invitation!
Are my children invited?
We want everyone attending to relax and have a great time. While we would love to have little ones, we are close to the venue's max capacity with our adult family and friends. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to make the ceremony and reception adults only with the exception of our bridal party!
What about drinks?
We will have an open bar for all guests 21+. Drinks will be served throughout the reception until midnight. Those guests who wish to continue celebrating have the option of relocating to the first floor for a cash bar until 2 AM!
What about my car?
There is plenty of parking on site. For those who may have had too much fun, we have arranged a shuttle service to transport our guests to a nearby hotel for those who have reservations. Cars may be left in the lot of the venue until the next morning.
Where are you registered?
The couple is registered at both Amazon.com and Crate & Barrel. We greatly appreciate any gift you choose to give us and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
When do I need to RSVP by?
We ask that you RSVP no later than September 14, 2024.
What kind of food will be served?
Dinner will be held from 7-8 and served family style. Entrees include a boneless roasted chicken breast with a white wine citrus sauce and a braised brisket with carrots, parsnips, and leeks in a cabernet natural sauce. Sides will include wild rice and quinoa pilaf, red skin roasted potatoes, and roasted brussel sprouts in a roasted shallot vinaigrette. There will be an assortment of desserts.
Where is the ceremony being held? The reception?
Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors, on the second floor of the 5th of Novi. Cocktail hour will be held on the main floor to allow for the reception hall to be set up for dining/dancing! There is a large staircase, but for guests who do require it, there is access to an elevator.
