The proposal came one cold night in December of 2020. My mom, aunt, and I had gone to a spa earlier that day to get massages and our nails done. We had plans to go to dinner with my family and Alex's family which was no red flag as we do this often. We wanted to go see the Christmas lights downtown before going to dinner. Both families all crammed into two cars to ride to downtown Cleveland. Everyone knew what was about to happen, except me.

The Christmas lights were scarce, there was so many people and everyone was hungry. Alex had disappeared with his nephew and everyone was ready to go, or so I thought. Suddenly, Alex appeared from the Christmas lights in front of the big tree and got down on one knee. Overwhelmed with emotions, all I could do was tell Alex to get up and start crying. It was obviously a yes once I could control my emotions. Alex and our families arranged an engagement party with decorations and dinner at our favorite restaurant after the proposal. It was the most perfect night!

We are so excited to continue the next chapter of our story and celebrate with all of our family and friends. We cannot wait to see everyone October 2022!
