Jake and Ashleigh met in the fall of 2020 when Ashleigh accepted a teaching position at the school where Jake was working. Ashleigh was 24 and Jake was 31 years old. Ashleigh was offered numerous times by Jake, whom she had just met, to help her set up her classroom that summer. He even came into the building on days he didn’t have to just so he could come talk to Ashleigh. Now the rest is history! Our first time we spent time together outside of work was at Lake Effect Ice Cream where Jake showed a girl from Wheatfield around the Lockport Locks. Our first official date was on Ashleigh’s birthday, where Jake took her to Niagara Falls for some mini golf, time at the casino and dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. For the past few years, Ashleigh and Jake have been going to many Buffalo Bills games, various concerts and even taking trips to places such as Nashville, Tennessee, since of course Ashleigh turned Jake into a country boy! With each adventure we have gone on it is always about making memories and something to cherish as much as possible. One of our favorites memories is our week long trip to see Morgan Wallen in Columbus, Ohio and then shipping out to Nashville Tennessee to enjoy some good country music and vibes. We are hoping to make it out back to Nashville soon and even take a trip on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail in the future to keep making those memories. On the weekends you can either catch us out and about trying new restaurants or bars but also at times can find us just hanging out around the house drinking a nice glass of Whiskey and listening to our favorite music on the TV and having a night time fire. We love attending Bills games and tailgating with our best friends! For those who know us, we never miss a Sunday Funday Bills Game… even if Ashleigh is throwing a fit and screaming and yelling at how the game is going… 💙♥️ Highmark Stadium will always have a special place in our lives as Ashleigh was surprised back in November of 2023 when she thought she was going to have a tour of the stadium only to be walked to the 50 yard line where Jake proposed to her. From that day on we have made so many more memories including welcoming our very first dog into our little family, Cannoli. With so many more adventures in the future to be had and all the memories we are going to make, we are looking forward to spending our special day with all of our friends and families and making one of the biggest memories of all.
