Q + A

What is the dress code?

A semi-formal affair, with a dash of Mzansi flair. Rock those cocktail dresses and snazzy suits, and don’t forget your best dance moves!

How do I RSVP for the wedding?

Ready to RSVP? Mosey on over to our wedding website, click on the "RSVP" section, and you’re sorted! You’ve officially secured your spot at the jol of the year.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by 1 August 2024. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume you’re busy binge-watching your favorite soapies at home.

Can I bring a plus one?

Check your invitation or the RSVP tab for names. If you’re not sure if your bestie made the cut, just give us a shout. We promise we don’t bite (much).

Can I bring my children?

While we adore your laaities, we’re keeping this bash adults-only. It’s your chance to party like it’s 1999... without the bedtime stories and nappies.

What should I do if I need to change my RSVP?

Plans change, we get it. If you need to update your RSVP, give us a tinkle at 071 990 3158. But remember, no changes after 1 August 2024 – our caterer has a strict no-last-minute-panic policy.

Where to stay

Check out our website for AirBnB links in Stellenbosch and Somerset West. Comfort and convenience, all in one click.

Is transportation provided to and from the wedding venue?

Nope, we won’t be your Uber drivers for the day. Please arrange your own transport to and from the venue. Yes, Uber works here, and no, Pete won’t be moonlighting as your chauffeur.

What are the parking options at the venue?

Parking? Sorted. We have a designated area for guests with a car guard on duty. It’s practically VIP parking, minus the red carpet and paparazzi.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We suggest arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony starts. Aim to be at the Church by 3pm.

What can I expect for the weather during that time of year?

September weather is as predictable as a soap opera plot twist. Check the forecast closer to the date and dress like you’re ready for anything. Indoors or not, the party goes on!

Are you registered anywhere for gifts?

We’re skipping the registry. If you’d like to gift us something, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be lekker. Check the ‘gift registry’ tab for more details. Cash or EFTs accepted – no IOUs, please.

Will there be options for guests with dietary restrictions?

Vegetarian? Vegan? We’ve got you covered. Let us know any specific dietary needs directly. We aim to please every palate.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar! We’ve got beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages for those pacing themselves. And guess what? We’ve even brewed a special wedding beer just for the occasion. It’s so good, you might start thinking you’re at a craft beer festival. Drink responsibly, though – we want everyone to remember the wedding, not just the hangover. Cheers to a night of unforgettable toasts and possibly a few dodgy dance moves!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Leave the ceremony snaps to our professional photographer. During the reception, go bos! Capture those candid moments and share the love.

What should I do if I have a special request or need assistance?

Is there a hashtag for the wedding on social media?
