In September 2017, Ashleigh and Kevin met at a mutual friend's fundraiser walk for congenital heart disease awareness. As the event wrapped up, Kevin found himself awkwardly standing and staring at Ashleigh. A week later, Kevin took a chance and messaged Ashleigh on Instagram. When Kevin asked Ashleigh out on a date, she playfully challenged him by holding off for three weeks, claiming her kickboxing classes were too important to reschedule.

Finally, she agreed, and their first date at Bensi and Grasshopper marked the beginning of their journey together. After a few months of dating, Ashleigh shared the news with her family, who naturally asked a million questions. When she described Kevin to her uncle, he mentioned "I think Kevin was our waiter at Outback!" (at the time Kevin was a waiter at Outback). It was a perfect coincidence that only deepened their connection.

Ashleigh's family quickly embraced Kevin, treating him like their own. Little did he know, marrying into a big Italian family meant he would never go hungry again. He could do no wrong in their eyes, and soon became an integral part of the family.

Fast forward six years, and Kevin had a big gift for Ashleigh's 29th birthday: a trip to the Bahamas! Ashleigh was thrilled but had no idea she would be coming home engaged! Under the sunset on a pier in paradise, Kevin proposed, with a photographer capturing the moment. Although the first photos of Ashleigh saying "yes" were obscured by her hair, the memory remains a special one.

Today, Kevin proudly runs his own in-home occupational and physical therapy business, Kinetic Home Therapy Services. Their passion for community service is evident in the fundraiser walks they participate in, which have become an enjoyable and integral part of growing Kinetic Home Therapy. Both the walks and an unforgettable trip to the Bahamas will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
