Who would've thought that on December 05, 2013 when two little middle schoolers decided they wanted to date (or so that's what we called it, even though our parents were the ones taking us everywhere), it would lead to a wedding 11 years later. To say I, Ashleigh, have been dreaming of this moment.. would be a complete understatement.   Carson & I met in middle school, he was in 8th grade at Woodlawn, I was in 7th grade at River Mill. Although we went to different schools, we went to everything we could together. From football games to lacrosse games, movies, and all of the dance competitions in between, we were inseparable on the weekends. We went through moving up in school as highschoolers, school changes (as I moved to Southern Alamance my 9th grade year), getting our licenses, and all the various life changes that you would expect to ruin a middle school relationship... but somehow, we always made it through everything. Once graduation from high school was in the cards for us, Carson decided that he would stay home and go to the community college for his first year while I was finishing my senior year, and once I graduated, we both would go to East Carolina University. So that's exactly what we did... until it was cut short our first year and we were sent back home. Moving back home was probably the hardest thing we had to go through (well except for me going through nursing school.... whew that was taxing). We finally had all the freedom we could ask for being away at college, just to come home and get put through a lock down. But once again, we preserved and made it through, and eventually were able to go back to school and finish what we started.   In June of 2022, we both made the decision to rescue our fur baby, Cash, which was truly the best decision in the world. Allowing us to show our love and discipline to another living thing on this planet truly changed our relationship for the better. (I guess the saying is true... if you want to see the true side of someone, get a puppy because boy are they stressful).   Fast forward to now... we have both graduated from ECU and are in the professions of our dreams, Cash is out of that puppy stage (Praise the Lord), and we're engaged!! We have been through every single stage of life together so far, from middle school, high school, college, real life careers, buying cars, moving in together, and all of the highs and lows in between, and I truly cannot wait to make it official and share the same last name with my best friend. So cheers to us, and cheers to you for celebrating this huge milestone with us!!!! The hotel that is so graciously allowing us to do room blocks at a discounted rate for our wedding party is the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Mebane. This hotel is just a short 10 minute drive from the wedding venue, and conveniently around many restaurants!

Wha﻿t kind of things should I know prior to booking.. What is the price? The discounted price is $144/night. When should I book by? All guests requesting a room under our discounted room block MUST book no later than April 16, 2025. After this date, all of the remaining rooms under our block will go back to the general public to book up. What days are included? The room block is available from Thursday (5/15) through Monday (5/19). If you need more days, please reach out to the hotel! What types of rooms are available? The options are 2 doubles OR a king with a sofa bed! What should I ask for when I am booking? Ask for the Huey Hurysz Wedding!
