Is there parking at The Long Island Aquarium?
The night of the wedding, the Aquarium will be offering valet parking to guests of our wedding.
What time does the ceremony start?
The ceremony will start promptly at 6:30 PM. On our invitations you will see a 6:15 PM start time which we included to give our guests enough time to arrive and find a seat for the start of the ceremony.
Are kids allowed to attend the reception?
Although we do love your children but the only children invited to the wedding reception are our immediate nieces and nephews. This is nothing against your child/children we promise! Consider this a parent's night out! :)
Are there hotel blocks accommodated for guests?
Yes! We have a block of rooms being held at The Hyatt East End attached to the aquarium itself. You can find the link and phone number under the Travel tab on this website. Our hotel block is under Kiezel Lohmann Wedding. This is the only hotel that we have reserved a block, however there are other hotels in the area which are also listed under the travel tab.
What is the wedding attire?
This is by no means a black tie affair. Considering that it is an evening wedding, attire for an evening wedding is preferable. No jeans please :)
May I bring a guest?
If your invitation states your name and guest, then absolutely! If there is not a guest option, then unfortunately not. We can only accommodate so many for this night.

Can the food at the wedding be modified for food allergies?
Absolutely! Please let Mike or myself know if you have any type of food allergy so that we can let the venue know prior to the wedding day. Also, day of, you may let the waiter or waitress know of any food allergy that you may have, and they can customize your food order for you.
