Our love story started when I was adamantly trying to avoid him, it is pretty clear how that went...

I noticed Patrick at the gym, and overheard some of his "guy talks" and just thought he was bad news, the type your girlfriends tell you about, you know the type.. The one you tell yourself to avoid, but who ever listens to themselves. It wasn't long after I began noticing Patrick that he finally got the courage to tell me that he liked....my shoes, yup my shoes. I took the compliment but proceeded to "listen to myself" and steer clear. Well that didn't last long because a week of smiles, and short flirty conversations continued on to late night text messages, but I was still trying to avoid the inevitable and would always say no whenever he asked me out. Patrick was persistent and proceeded to ask and after several rejections I finally gave in. That's the day our adventures began, five years later and we are so excited to become Mr and Mrs Monahan!
