Although Jim and Ashley went to the same elementary school and grew up in the same town, they didn't start to get to know each other until high school. The summer after they graduated, they started hanging out and realized they were meant to be!

They moved to Eau Claire to pursue their bachelor's degree and had the best college experience. They both made many lasting friendships and had an endlessly good time. After completing their bachelor degrees, Jim moved back to Wausau to begin work as a business analyst and Ashley went on to complete her master's degree at UW-Stout. During Ashley's last semester of graduate school, Jim picked a snowy day in January to propose while ice-skating. It couldn't have been more perfect!

Ashley then moved back to Wausau to start a career in counseling and they've had their first experiences living together. Ashley and Jim have a love for their families, adventures, camping, shenanigans with friends, golfing, and spending time with their puppy. They've truly enjoyed every minute of planning their lives together. Their favorite moment since their engagement was bringing home their puppy, Charlie!
