In 2018 they met through mutual friends at the infamous tiki. Their friend Tyler hosted various holiday parties and beer Olympics events in his backyard over the years, where they always ran into each other. They were always dating other people, so nothing ever came about.

Fast forwarding to one day in 2023, Ashley posted an Instagram story of her in a Panthers hockey jersey supporting her local team in south Florida. Anthony messaged her saying "don't forget your Tampa roots" and the conversation carried on from there. Who knew an Instagram DM would change their lives forever. After messaging for a couple weeks, Anthony asked her out on a date for the next time she is home. She wasn't going back to Palm Harbor for a few months, so he made his way down to Delray Beach to see her.

Their very first date was a full weekend visit in Delray Beach where they got to know each other better and they immediately clicked. After a few weeks they became boyfriend and girlfriend and were long distance for a year.

Once the long distance part finally came to an end and Ashley moved back to the 727, they bought a home together and got engaged.
