Jardin Del Eden Boutique Hotel
Hello to our darling family and friends! We have a block of rooms reserved at Jardín del Edén Boutique Hotel from Wednesday, 1/12/22 - Monday, 1/17/22. The discounted rates (below) will apply four days before and fours days after the "official" dates listed above. So, if you decide to arrive earlier or stay longer, you can still take advantage of the lower rates. Room rates per night are as follows and include a buffet breakfast and dinner at the hotel:
Standard: $222; Superior: $252; Premium: $272; Premium Plus: $310; $Junior Suite: $326; Romantic Garden: $346; Romantic Terrace: $371; Romantic Star: $396
You can either call and make a reservation using the room block code/our last names or send the attached reservation form<----- to reservations@jardindeleden.com. Note, the wedding invites say you have until November 26th to book your hotel; however, the hotel has offered an extension through December 10th to book your room against the discounted rates. Rooms are booking up quickly, so if you haven't done so, book asap!
Jardín del Edén is right off the beach and a short walk to the main town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself does have a restaurant on premises, but we encourage you to explore the stunning beach town of Tamarindo!
FYI: while the welcome dinner will be at Jardin del Eden Hotel, the wedding itself will take place at Pangas Beach Club, which is half a mile away (transportation will be provided).
If you for some reason missed the boat on Jardin del Eden, there is a sister hotel right next door called Tamarindo Diria. It's a bigger hotel, and you will have access to the same amenities as Jardin del Eden. If you're looking for hotel accommodations outside of Jardin, this is the place to look.

He is happy to help curate your experience either at a villa, smaller boutique hotel, or a casual beach mansion. If you go this route, please be sure to let us know where you're staying so we can set-up shuttle service for the day of the wedding.

See here for Costa Rica's entry requirements. As of now, everyone needs to fill out a Health Form 72 hours before traveling. If vaccinated, you will need to include your vaccine card. If not vaccinated, you will need a to secure a travel insurance policy.
Please keep in mind, that as of 1/8/2022 you will only be permitted to enter non essential businesses in Costa Rica if you are vaccinated. Which means that if you are not vaccinated, you may have trouble accessing hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions, etc. This could change, but PLEASE keep an eye on these requirements if you are planning to travel without a vaccine.
Upon arriving in Costa Rica, the airport closest to Tamarindo is Liberia (LIR). You will want to set up shuttle transportation in advance of your trip using a shuttle service like this one. They have options for shared shuttles (~$20 one way) or private rides (~$80 one way). It's about a 1.5 hour drive, and your driver will likely let you stop for a road beer :)
Upon exiting Costa Rica, make sure you check the U.S. entry requirements. Currently, regardless of vaccination status, you will need a Covid test within 72 hours of departure (vaccinated) or within 24 hours (not vaccinated). Your hotel should be able to set you up with this! If you are staying at Jardin del Eden, contact Dorian at d.duran@jardindeleden.com and he can book your test for you.
