We first met at work where we endured many long Saturdays filled of paperwork and frightening walks up the silo. It was frightening for me but Justin was never afraid. He has a way of calming you down while still being encouraging and stern.

Those Saturdays quickly turned into the highlight of our week because of the immediate connection filled with humor, pranks and NASCAR.

This immediate friendship developed into a more meaningful and heartfelt, deep connection that we knew would be unbreakable. We have loved traveling across the US and finding new hiking trails (one positive outcome of work travel and Covid), but also enjoy our quiet time at home cooking and watching our shows. Even if we have to drive 14 hours to see each other for 1 day (that was a fun year straight) we always do whatever we can to be with each other, to support each other and show one another true unconditional love.

Justin proposed in the most perfect way. Upon asking my father's permission, together they strung hundreds of twinkle lights all along a tranquil gazebo making it feel like a setting in a fairy tale. We were on our way to dinner when Justin had to "make a quick stop" and pulled up to the picturesque setting. Took me by the hands, got down on one knee and popped the question. With an immediate YES! made it the most special and perfect night.
