Although they had known each other since high-school, frequenting the same parties and hangouts, they never managed to exchange numbers or go beyond the simple niceties of initial acquaintance. Kevin remained a handsome stranger, known only as "Trigger" to Ashley. This misnomer led to confusion when, years later as social media became "A thing", Kevin friended Ashley on Facebook. With Animal from Sesame Street as his profile picture and the name "Kevin Trainor", Ashley ignored the request, wondering where this stalker came from? It took a cameo at her birthday party and a 3 month hiatus in Southeast Asia before Ashley finally put two and two together. Their mutual interest in the Occupy Wall Street Movement and green roofs kept things interesting and almost immediatley the connection led to a full fledged romance.
