A & K's Love Story

It all started in June of 2020, as fate would have it Ashley and Kurt's paths crossed! Both were super busy in their professions; Kurt was a track coach at UNM at the time, and Ashley was a police officer with the Albuquerque Police Department. However, both managed to make time for each other, as they knew they had something special going on!

As time went, things got serious, and during their first vacation together in July of 2021 Kurt got offered a new job at Texas A&M! Many tears were shed as this was a major & exciting turning point in their relationship! Kurt moved to College Station in August of 2021, and Ashley spent her weekends traveling to visit Kurty & start the process of her transferring to the College Station Police Department.

During a very short trip home before the holidays, Kurt proposed to Ashley on her birthday, December 22!! The planning of a wedding, a move, and transferring to a new department was now in full swing!!

It took some time ( a LOT longer than Kurty preferred) but Ashley finally moved to College Station in March of 2022 and started with College Station Police Department that same month.

Both Ashley & Kurt are enjoying their new chapters in their careers, and new lives in Texas! They are renting a small two bedroom apartment for the time being. Hence why the registry is about 6 items deep! They have no room for anything! Home buying for them will most likely be in 2023! They miss their friends and families back in Albuquerque dearly, and are so looking forward to the big day, July 23rd!!!
