&nbsp;From Abrams Elementary to Washington Middle School and finishing off with Oconto Falls High School. Sam and Ashley were total opposites growing up but that is what makes them&nbsp;unique.&nbsp;Sam and Ashley met February 1, 2018.&nbsp;Ashley reached out to Sam to wish him a Happy Belated Birthday and ever since then, it has been love at first sight. Sam was then home in April. During that month, Ashley was losing her nana. Sam was very understanding of the situation. It wasn't until Ashley had reached out to Sam asking if he wanted to go to Green Bay with her. Sam got Ashley away from her Nana's side. Ashley and Sam went to Green Bay one more time during the hard time. That next time, lead to Ashley and Sam's first date, Cold Stone Creamery. Sam was with Ashley during the hardest part of her life. After that, the next time they saw each other was when Sam came home for New Years. Ashley met his family New Years Eve. That is when they had their first kiss. Sam then met Ashley's family the following day. Sam then had to leave to head back to New River Air Station in North Carolina. Ashley then headed out with his family as they traveled to Emerald Isle for a week in April of 2019. It was on the Emerald Isle beach that Sam gave Ashley her promise ring. Sam then came home in May for Ashley's birthday and college graduation.&nbsp;Ashley then flew back out in November for the Marine Birthday Ball. It was their that they got to enjoy their favorite food together. They both love BBQ foods so Sam took Ashley out to Mission BBQ.&nbsp; Sam came home for New Years again. Then was gone. He came home for his birthday at the end of January 2020. It was on February 8, 2020 that Sam asked Ashley for her hand in marriage. They had went on a snowmobile trip. It just so happened to be Ashley's first ever snowmobile trip. The Dorn family put on 100 miles that day. On the trip they made a stop at 12 Foot Falls. That is the place that Sam asked the question. The long distance relationship has been hard, but to Ashley and Sam it is making the Love grow stronger.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Our Story

Ashley and Sam's wedding date falls in between&nbsp;Ashley's grandparents. Sam never got to meet Ashley's Nana but he got to meet her Papa who very much enjoyed talking military talk and guns. Ashley's Nana and Papa have both passed now. Ashley was very close with the both of them so this wedding is around them. Some of the details are reminders of her grandparents. Her grandpas birthday was June 2nd and her Nana's birthday was June 9th. June 5th falls right in the middle. It was a perfect date that Sam and Ashley just happened to pick before they realized what it fell around. The Daisies in the wedding represent her nana and the pheasant feathers represent her papa. The lanterns&nbsp;that will be used at the reception are lanterns that Ashley's dad used to make with his dad. David, Ashley's dad, made the lanterns for the wedding with the help of Ashley and the family! They fit the theme so well!&nbsp;
