It was love at first swipe! Yes—we met on a dating app, and it just goes to show that sometimes, they really do work.

Our first date was at a spot called Permission Whiskey, and we instantly hit it off. We talked, laughed, and connected for over three hours. That same night, Winston called his mom and told her, “I’m going to marry Ashley.” And… here we are.

A sweet moment we’ll never forget: when Winston got into Ashley’s car after that first date, “Shake the Frost” was playing. Little did Ashley know, it was one of Winston’s all-time favorite songs. It has now become our song.

For our second date, Winston took Ashley to an Astros game—which, she later found out, was actually a test! Luckily, she passed, and we still love going to baseball games together.
