Our Wedding

In a Galaxy Far, Far Away... We met on a dating website and decided that we were both worth a first date. On a rainy evening, we knew that it was going to be something special. On November 20th, 2021, we made it official and have been on an adventure ever since. In January, 2022, we took our first real trip together, heading into the deep woods of the Appalachian mountains, where our love of nature grew, as well as our love for each other. It wasn't always easy with the first couple of years of our relationship being long distance. We were, however, always able to reconnect to each other through the mountains. One Year One year together was a true turning point in our relationship. We had met each other's families, been challenged by friends, and conquered a milestone. Then a huge step was made. Chopper was brought into our lives and was instantly loved by both of his parents. Our little mountain boy started out adventurous but he was quickly become a lazy house cat. Our love of nature also extended into our love of history. We have explored many historical battlegrounds together, national parks, and other historically recognized areas. We plan on traveling to Scotland for our honeymoon and discovering the natural histories of the old world. Two Years Two years had hit and it was meant with its challenges. Whether it was missing out on concerts, the hardships of long distance, or the longing to be together. We once again came out on top and climbed another mountain together. May 2024 was the biggest accomplishment yet. She was done at last! Graduation day had come at last and our lives together were to begin. We quickly moved into our first house together in June. Another huge milestone for our family was the extension of it with our little guy, Atlas. As soon as we saw his eyes we instantly knew that he was coming home with us. It took a few weeks for Chopper and Atlas to get used to each other but now you would think they were actual brothers! Then AT LAST! August 31st, 2024 The ring was burning a hole in the pocket no longer. On the banks of the Potomac River, just underneath the historic town of Harper's Ferry, the proposal. Intertwined within sugar maples he got down on one knee and asked the very question she had been dying to hear. Then she LAUGHED in his face before saying yes and then the tears commenced. Three Years A quiet three-year anniversary that was one of relaxation and happiness. The wedding was being planned, families meeting, connecting, and growing. From our family to yours, thank you for sharing our journey with us and we cannot wait to share our special day with you! September 20th, 2025 Wedding Day where our story will continue together

Most of our guests will only be able to see the Woodlands, Reception Tent and Gaia’s Garden but since the ENTIRE venue is open to all this is the local map so you do not get lost. Please remember that this is a natural preserved site and you must respect that. Rehearsal Dinner Parking is at the barn but other guests MUST park at the “Field of Blessings” across from the Woodlands
