The story of how Patrick and Ashley met is one that will truly never age. In the summer of 2021, Ashley had just moved in to her first apartment in Charlotte. Reluctant to going out on the town to celebrate, her best friend, Kate, convinced her otherwise.

Patrick had spent the day golfing with close friend, Ben, and later attended a baseball game uptown. Patrick, also reluctant to hit the town, decided, why not!

After Ashley and Patrick separately had their time spent on the town, the two decided to make their trek back home for the night. Little did they know, on that walk home, they would bump into each other on the corner of S. Tryon St. in Charlotte around midnight and meet their future spouse.

After brief introductions, Patrick convinced Ashley to stay out for one final drink. The following day, Patrick would then take Ashley on their first date of so many more!
