Our Wedding

Our journey began when we were just 16, sitting in the same driver’s ed class. That’s where Ashley and Brandon first crossed paths. For Ashley, the moment she saw Brandon, she thought he was cute and as soon as she got to know his personality, she instantly fell in love. For Brandon, it was just as clear he thought Ashley was absolutely beautiful, quiet, shy, and kept to herself but something about her stood out from the start.. From that very first encounter, they both somehow just knew it was love at first sight. Their first official date was a special one at the old bowling alley in Defiance on Christmas, surrounded by family. Just days later, on December 30th, Brandon officially asked Ashley to be his girlfriend. About six months later, they said their first “I love you,” sealing a bond that only grew stronger with time. Their first trip together was camping at Pokagon with family an adventure that marked the beginning of many shared memories. Over the past five and a half years, Ashley and Brandon have faced life’s highs and lows hand in hand. Every challenge has shaped them, strengthened them, and brought them closer preparing them for the beautiful future they’re stepping into now. The proposal was something out of a fairytale. Brandon had planned a family photo shoot at George Bible Park in Bryan, including Ashley in the pictures. He chose their close friend Jenna to take the photos who just so happened to be in on the big surprise. As they walked through the park, Brandon insisted on taking pictures on the bridge. While Ashley thought the photo session was over, Jenna kept snapping away. Then, in a moment Ashley will never forget, she turned around to find Brandon down on one knee, ring in hand, his voice trembling as he asked, “Will you marry me?” Tears immediately filled Ashley’s eyes. Overcome with emotion, she hugged him tight forgetting to even say yes at first! Brandon, still smiling, gently reminded her, “Well, will you?” Through joyful, tearful laughter, she finally said yes with a cracked but wholehearted voice. That night, they celebrated at Jacky Blues and later surprised close family with the news. Shock, joy, and love filled the room no one saw it coming, but everyone was overjoyed. Now, they look ahead to a life together growing, learning, loving, and building a future side by side. Ashley and Brandon are thrilled to take the next steps in life together and are beyond grateful to celebrate this next chapter with the friends and family who have supported them along the way. Here’s to love, laughter, and their forever.
