The Story of Us

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ashley and Cole were both born and raised in Huntington Beach, California. Their paths had strangely crossed many times, without meeting each other. It started way back when they both attended Coastline Christian Preschool. Many times they had been in the same room, or even on the playground together, without even knowing it. Fate worked yet again, taking them both to Peterson Elementary School. Cole attended from kindergarten through fifth grade and Ashley from kindergarten through second grade. But their destiny gets a little more entangled than just similar schools. While at Peterson in the second grade, Ashley met Lindsey,&nbsp;her maid of honor.&nbsp;The two of them really hit it off while working on a Dr. Seuss presentation of the Green Eggs and Ham and have been best friends ever since. Ashley was over at Lindsey’s constantly and little did she know, her future husband lived just down the street. Lindsey and Cole had actually played together many times with the other neighborhood children, without knowing they would be in each other’s lives in years to come. Even though Ashley and Cole were just a couple of houses apart, their paths didn’t cross again until a couple years later.



&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;In the next stage of life, Cole attended Sowers Middle School from 6th&nbsp;&nbsp;through 8th&nbsp;grade and had recently moved into a new neighborhood. Since Cole had been so involved with neighborhood kids at his last home, he searched for friends that enjoyed the things that he did. That is where he met Tommy,&nbsp;his now best man.&nbsp; Cole saw the dirt bikes in Tommy’s garage and knew that they were going to be best friends, but didn’t know that he was the one to introduce him to the love of his life. Meanwhile, Ashley had transferred from a school in Tustin to Sowers to be with Lindsey again. On her first day in her first class, she ran into someone that Cole knew very well, Tommy. Ashley and Tommy became good friends, eventually leading to Cole and Ashley meeting for the very first time.





&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Cole and Ashley’s love story starts back in the summer of&nbsp;2009, but unlike every great love story, it was not love at first sight. Cole knew exactly how to press Ashley’s buttons and she didn’t want anything to do with him. Although, as time went on their friendship grew, so did their love for each other. They hung out with each other constantly and in time were truly inseparable.&nbsp;Then on January 5th, 2011, they began dating, as they both&nbsp;attended Edison High School together. Ashley and Cole are truly the definitions of High School sweethearts. Throughout the High School years, they did so much together: attended three proms, multiple football games, taught each other new things (Ashley learned how to ride a dirtbike, and Cole learned Ashley’s love of traveling), Supercross every year, Palm Springs trips, Fishing, Disneyland and most importantly how laugh and have fun and so much more. They basically grew up together;&nbsp;as the years went on their love grew stronger&nbsp;and flourished. After six years of dating, Cole&nbsp;decided to join the Marines, and Ashley stood by his side in support as he went off to boot camp and then got stationed in North Carolina. After many years, adventures, various transitions, and life seasons on&nbsp;October 6th, 2017, Cole got down on his&nbsp;knee aboardd&nbsp;the U.S.S Midway in San Diego and proposed. Now on September 29th&nbsp;2018 they will declare their love to each&nbsp;other in front of their friends and family.&nbsp;
