Our story begins on my first day of college in August 2021. I decided to go check out the gym for the opening day. I noticed some people playing volleyball and I asked if I could join them. Then, the most beautiful girl ever tells me I can play with them. After we played, I asked her for her snapchat. The next day arrives and I realize we have business law class together. We ended up sitting on opposite sides of the classroom and did not talk much. I liked her but I was kind of shy to shoot my shot. After some time, our first business law exam came around and I got a text from Ashley asking me to study together. From that point on, the chemistry continued to grow. We began to become best friends, even though we liked each other more than friends. We did everything together, from playing volleyball, going to workout, Intramurals, study dates, cookout runs, and more. By Thanksgiving of 2021, I knew I wanted Ashley to be my girlfriend. I asked her to come visit me in Corbin KY during winter break and she agreed! On December 30th, 2021, I asked her to be my girlfriend at Cumberland Falls in Corbin. From that point on, my life became a fairytale. We were going on dates, road trips, concerts, sporting events, etc. The greatest part of the relationship was the fact that she was my rock. She has the heart of an angel, she is emphatic, kind, smart, funny, and I could go on and on.

Around January of 2023, I started to realize that I wanted Ashley to be my wife. I remember telling my mom that I wanted to marry her; my mom began to tear up and just told me to follow my heart. On May 5th 2023, I took Ashley’s parents to dinner and asked David for Ashley’s hand in marriage. Ashley and I had a conversation about marriage and she told me she would love to design her ring. So we went to a jeweler together and she designed her dream engagement ring! I began to plan the proposal with the help of her mom and best friend. On July 9th 2023, I proposed to Ashley at the Missouri Botanical Garden. It was at a waterfall just like how I asked her to be my girlfriend. I can’t wait to marry the most precious woman on earth. We are beyond blessed to have found each other and we can't wait to celebrate the start of a new chapter in our story with you!
