We met in 2016 through a mutual friend. Taylor and I started dating in 2020 after a year of taking it snail speed. We have gone through so much good, some bad, but wouldn’t trade each other for the world. He’s the calm quiet one, and I am full of sass and spunk. We are the perfect balance. Taylor supported me while I was nursing school, and has supported me in all my aspirations and “crazy ideas.” He just nods his head and goes with the flow. Taylor loves my two kids as his own, and in 2023 we welcomed our little Maggie into the world. She is our little ray of sunshine. We may not all share DNA or a last name, but we are proud of our family of 5. We have gotten through so much while supporting each other with our goals and dreams. In June of 2024, Taylor decided to ask me to marry him, it was a very easy yes. We were with our kids on a warm summers day with geese and ducks in the background. It was a simple but perfect proposal. We cannot wait to tie the knot with our closest family and friends and celebrate!
