In 2017, Ashley joined the Saint Leo community, excited but nervous about starting her college journey. Little did she know, it would be the beginning of something beautiful. Among the bustling campus activities, she met Tony. They exchanged hellos, but their paths didn't intertwine much until the fall of 2018.

As Resident Assistants, Ashley for Snyder Hall and Tony for Benoit Hall, they found themselves in similar roles, guiding and supporting their peers through the ups and downs of college life. Working side by side, their friendship flourished. They shared late-night duty shifts, brainstormed event ideas, and found solace in each other during the inevitable challenges of their roles.

Then came 2020, a year of unexpected twists and turns. COVID-19 disrupted campus life, but amidst the chaos, it brought Ashley and Tony even closer. They leaned on each other for support, finding comfort in each other's company when the world seemed uncertain. They'd grab food together, explore the nearby town, and cherish the simple moments with friends.

It was during those times, amidst the uncertainty and shared experiences, that their bond deepened into something more. In June 2020, as the world was navigating through the pandemic, Ashley and Tony realized they had fallen in love. Their friendship had blossomed into a love that was undeniable and unbreakable.

Since then, their love has only grown stronger. They've weathered the challenges of long-distance during breaks, celebrated each other's achievements, and created countless memories together.

Their love story, born out of a college community and strengthened through shared experiences, continues to flourish as they navigate life's journey hand in hand, knowing that their love will always be their guiding light.
