Our Wedding

This love story began in the beginning of 2017 when Andy &amp; Ashley crossed paths working at DICK's Sporting Goods in Lombard, IL. Andy joined the footwear team while Ashley worked upstairs, all by her lonesome. They didn't see too much of each other until they both started playing basketball with some of their coworkers after work. After the first initial judgements were made, mainly Ashley judging Andy and his sense of style, a friendship started to bloom. They started hanging out regularly with people from work, which quickly turned into random car rides, early morning breakfast runs and deep conversations, just the two of them. They spent a majority of the summer getting to know each other and Ashley even tried to help Andy ask another girl out. Clearly, it did not work. It only took a few months for them to become inseparable and give Andy the courage to finally ask Ashley out on a real date. Now fast forward to today, almost 8 years have gone by which have been filled with countless adventures and loving memories. They graduated and supported each other through college, travelled around the country on 14 different trips, launched their corporate careers, adopted the sweetest fur baby and purchased their first home out of state. There were hundreds of dates through the years that were spent exploring new foods, going to concerts, rooting for their favorite teams at sporting events and getting far too competitive on mini-golf courses. The road wasn't always sunshine and rainbows though, as there were a few hiccups along the road. They grew together through the Covid pandemic, Andy survived a near death experience with quicksand, Ashley almost drowned in the Narrows at Zion, Andy breaking his collar bone, Ashley temporarily misplacing her engagement ring, and surprisingly they made it through 16 Bears &amp; Packers games without killing each other (if you know you know). All of these events led to a long awaited proposal from Andy. He took Ashley to Naperville, back where it all began, got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him (and Luna). Sadly, Ashley cried through the entire proposal and doesn't remember saying yes, but here they are planning their wedding, so it all seemed to work out. All of these experiences have brought Andy and Ashley closer and made them realize how much fun life can be when you have the right person by your side. They are excited for this next chapter and thrilled to see what adventures lie ahead.&nbsp; 10.3.2025 will be their biggest milestone yet and they are so excited to be able to celebrate with all of you!&nbsp;
