Nick and Ashley met at Wild West Dance Hall. The night was spent teaching Ashley how to dance, mocking each others' accents, and having a good time with each others' friends.

Nick officially asked Ashley to be his girlfriend, after Nick's work holiday party.

Nick and Ashley visited their dear friends, Joe and Kathy, in Bastrop.

Nick proposed to Ashley at one of her favorite spots, the San Antonio River Walk. For Nick not being a planner, he sure planned the perfect proposal! The night included dinner with both families, Ashley's best friend holding a sign on a tour boat, and Nick getting down on one knee to say, "Sweetheart, I love you. Will you marry me?"
