On Saturday, December 2, 2023, Ashley and Dan met in Baldwin Park, a small neighborhood in Orlando, at the Winter Wonderland Extravaganza. Ashley walked over from the apartment she was living in at the time and remembers setting her eyes on Dan for the first time. She thought to herself, what a well put together and handsome man, especially in blue. Dan thought she was pretty cute too! After the extravaganza was over, they decided to get a bite to eat at Blue Jackets. It’s one of their favorite restaurants now. They had a lovely evening and decided to meet up again. After several dates at Universal, hiking, and meeting each other's friends, they became quite close.

Then, their relationship was tested pretty early on when Ashley fell down the stairs and broke her ankle. It was a severe break, and Dan was by her side through it all. This is when she knew he was the one. Shortly after their first cruise he knew she was the one.

They enjoy going to events like Brews at the Zoo, out to the movies, traveling together, UF football games (Go Gators!), attending Mardi Gras and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal to just name a few activities! Their bond just keeps on getting stronger with each day that passes.

On January 11, 2025, Ashley's 40th birthday, in front of their families and closest friends, Dan got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. The two have never been happier and cannot wait to celebrate their wedding with you!
