We met in June 2022, but where exactly we met is debated. Sam believes it was June 16th at Nick's house, but I remember being introduced to him the week before at Scorecard. Either way, we fell in love at both Nick's house and Scorecard.

The story of how we got together is possibly our favorite story to tell. On December 11th, 2022, we started dating at a Christmas Party at my alma mater, Lehigh University. The party was being hosted by our good friend Lilly. Towards the end of the evening, a friend asked us what song they should play. We requested “Lay Lady Lay” by Bob Dylan. This was significant because I am a Bob Dylan super fan, and when we first met I told Sam I would know I met my soulmate when I could hear that song and think of someone. We sang the lyrics:
“Why wait any longer for the world to begin?
You can have your cake and eat it too
Why wait any longer for the one you love?
When hes standing, in front of you”

It was in that moment we decided to make things official. Now we plan to dance to that song at our wedding!
